Description

A carefully curated journey into the indigenous territory of Guna Yala, land of the Guna people. This experience will take you on a soulful adventure beginning with a 30-minute private charter flight to El Porvenir airport to board a catamaran towards Cayos Holandeses.

You will explore one of the most beautiful marine territories in the country where you will spend the first two days enjoying a 48’ catamaran, delighted by the pristine white-sand beaches, fresh food, and snorkeling your way through the vast biodiversity of its crystalline waters and coral reefs, joined by our local marine expert and local cultural guide. At the end of your days on this boat, you will have the opportunity to witness the most incredible sunsets and take in all the beauty that surrounds you.

On your third and final day in Guna Yala you will visit an authentic and small community that will welcome you with a ritual guided by the local botanist and healer in their sacred community house. Chanting, sacred dances and authentic and fresh food will be served for you. As the experience in this indigenous territory approaches its end, the catamaran crew will take you to board a 30-minute private charter flight to your destination. A 2.5 hour ground transportation option is also available, on the way there and back.

Guna Youth Spirituality Learning Program – OGAYA has signed an agreement with the Guna elders, committing to preserve their cultural treasures. From each experience, we will contribute a sum to support Guna indigenous youth to participate in their traditional knowledge and spirituality learning program.

Next OGAYA presents you with a well-planned packing list, outlining the recommended type of garments and attire for your chosen experiences.
