Indigenous Ngäbe Wisdom Immersion & Coastal Treasures

Description

Our adventure will take place in the western province of Chiriqui in the indigenous territory of the Ngäbe people and the Gulf of Chiriquí Marine National Park. A comfortable transportation will take you to Soloy for one full day to connect with the ancestral traditions of this group by participating in a traditional cacao ceremony with the local community and a short hike to the highest measured waterfall in Panama, Cascada Kiki, which they consider a natural water temple. You will also witness the amazing diversity of birds in this rural area, the picturesque views of their river, their sacred dances and crafts, and their unique and traditional food.

After this experience, a private transportation will take you to your luxury island resort in the Gulf of Chiriquí Marine National Park. Your following days at this private island resort will be well spent between white sandy island hopping, reef snorkeling, and SUP paddling into the sunset. The months between July and October offer a lush visual experience and the time of the humpback whale migration from the south to the north hemisphere, and in a similar season the nesting and birth of turtles at their beaches, providing a true bucket-list wildlife experience.
