This adventure becomes jungle-focused, prepare yourself for the lush greenery you will encounter. We are going to transport you to Gamboa, within Soberania National Park. In there, you will discover the beauties of Panama’s rainforest in the Rainforest Discovery Center (RDC), from ground level to canopy level by stair climbing the observation tower with your specialist guide. You will observe the amazing landscape and diversity of trees from different levels when going up the tower.

There are more species of birds and plants in Panama — a country the size of South Carolina, USA — than there are in all of Canada and the United States combined.

No wonder it is a paradise for birdwatchers from all over the world. Specifically, the RDC and the Pipeline Road are some of the best locations to see tropical forest birds in the Americas, with a species list exceeding 400.

Later, your guide will take you to some forest trails, prepared with binoculars, and depending on the time of the year, birdwatching possibilities expand, and local fauna is always present.

For the final part of your morning, you will go to the Visitor Center, built with 70% of materials from the old Canal Zone and a sanctuary of hummingbirds. You can sit, have a beverage, and feed these little creatures with the palm of your hand. A memorable experience for kids and adults. Also, the perfect spot for a slow-motion video and a peaceful moment.
